University of Chicago grad students want to bypass GOP-controlled labor board in contract talks

CHICAGO - The University of Chicago's graduate student union has decided not to continue with the National Labor Relations Board process as it pursues a contract with the university.
The graduate workers voted to unionize in October after efforts from the school to delay the vote. The school had asked the NLRB to review its decision to allow an election.
