About this series
Julianna Ortiz gave up her hopes for a perfect life long ago. She's 32, and alone, and she's accepted that. For how could she ask anyone to share in the absurdity that has become her life?
Her twin brother is languishing in a Mexican prison. His fellow gang members are constantly harassing her. And her father, who was absent for so long, has finally returned. As if Julianna needs another aggravation, along comes a notorious gunslinger who goes only by the Spanish name DelNorte. Their first meeting is frustrating. So much so that she'd rather see him dead than talk with him again - a wish that almost comes true. Yet this enigmatic man just may hold the key to saving all that matters most to her.

- The Senator's Other Daughter (The Belles of Lordsburg, Book 1)
1
Within the locket hanging near her heart is the secret that's broken it. A life of peace and seclusion as the unknown Miss Denison. It's what Grace longed for even before her father banished her from Washington, D.C. She just may have found it in Lordsburg, New Mexico--the small railroad town where people hide until the world stops looking. A place to send black sheep, skeletons in the closet, rebellious sons ... and wayward daughters whose secrets could ruin a father's precious political career. Yet Grace's cherished anonymity is soon lost when she gets caught in the middle of a huge ruckus. And her life is anything but peaceful thanks to an ornery pet at her boarding house, a precocious young Mexican boy, and a cowboy who makes her want to run to him and from him at the same time. When he learns the secret within her locket, will he break her heart too?
- The General's Notorious Widow (The Belles of Lordsburg, Book 2)
2
The scandalous death of Lixie Miller's husband has forced her to flee to Lordsburg, New Mexico. All she wanted to do at first was crawl in a hole and hide. But after a few months of dull routine, her safe hole is beginning to feel like her burial place. Then an interesting attorney comes from Santa Fe just to meet her--and leaves just as quickly as he came. And others need her help, including a hurt Indian girl. Suddenly Lixie has a purpose, but the dangerous circumstances unfolding around her threaten to take it away. Bly's latest is an adventurous, fast-paced story of one courageous lady's journey as she comes to recognize how the Lord works in her life.
