      Mankind has established contact, and the new species in the galaxy has one request.   Earth's embassy launches to the outer reaches of our system, meeting the new species in neutral space. She is kept apart from the others, alone in Slych's quarters, where she must learn to communicate with the impressive male who has captured her.   Their words are few as they begin to understand one another, but there is one universal language their species have in common.
