Donte grew up rough. The town of Lancaster was made up of two things, agriculture and the poor. Unfortunately for Donte he fell into the poor category. His Papa and Dad, are rejected wolf shifters. Their pack had turned their backs long before Donte was born. He didn't know anything other than his parents drunken rages and cars. When Donte's brother in law comes home with his mate, the man oozes wealth. Donte hates Asher instantly. But yet there is something about the man that he can't help but admire. In Donte's experience men with money are slimy assholes who are just out to cause as much pain as possible. But Asher proves he isn't like that. Now with a job and a place to live Donte aims to get far away from the town of Lancaster and his parents reputation. Savannah was one of twenty. Yes, twenty siblings. And her parents had television, believe it not. She thought she would be destined to live in Lancaster for the rest of her life. Rotting away like many of the other unskilled and unemployed. But when her brother brings home his mate Asher with an offer impossible to refuse, Savannah sees a new life and new possibilities. But will Donte's past catch up with them and ruin their new start or is there someone waiting in the wings to make their new start even better? This is the first of the Obsidian Mechanic's series. - Atticus: Obsidian Mechanics, #2
2
Merrick and Tiernan were more than cousins, they were best friends. Their lives had been intermingled since the day they were born. Tiernan often spent time with Merrick's Mama, as his own Mama had died during childbirth. Now that school had ended they had a few months before Tiernan would find out what football team wanted to draft him, and Merrick would head off to Lalbert University. Since, Merrick had moved to Ballarat when he was thirteen, the decision was made that Merrick and Tiernan would spend the summer together at Tiernan and his Dad's home in Lalbert. Atticus never had any interest in mating again. He'd lost his Erin nineteen years ago, that was enough for him. She had been his whole world. When she died, he'd just about given up too. If it hadn't been for his son Tiernan, he might have died right alongside Erin. Now Tiernan was coming home from boarding school and staying along with his best friend Merrick. It had been years since Atticus had last seen Merrick and he wondered how much he'd changed. This is a MM Mpreg story with a large age gap. There are possible triggers. - Boden: Obsidian Mechanics, #3
3
Boden was all that his Mama had left. His Papa had been murdered when he was a small child. Now his Mama was ill, and he was the only one that could care for her. In truth, Boden's Mama, Alexa, hadn't been right since his Papa was killed. Slowly, he watched his Mama lose her mind. Doctors first said it was Paranoid Schizophrenia, but now they told me Dementia. Either way, it was getting too much for Boden to care for his Mama. He had to admit defeat and look into the nursing home that the doctor had suggested. But it killed him to do it. What was worse was that his Mama didn't understand what was going on. Atlas had chosen to become a geriatric nurse after watching his Papa help his Dad through his Alzheimers. It had almost killed his Papa to send his Dad to the nursing home, but Dad's issues were becoming too big for his Papa to care for. Atlas remembered the day his Dad went into care and how his Papa had sobbed the entire night. At that moment, he decided he wanted to work in a care home. At the time, as a fourteen-year-old boy, he vowed he would work with his Dad. However, it didn't work out. Atlas's Dad died four years later. It was a bittersweet day. In one sense, he was grateful his Dad was finally at peace, but it had hurt him to have to lay his Dad to rest. This is a MM Mpreg story. It may contain some triggering themes.
