See the Father's heart toward all who are lost, our responsibility and our response to the love of God, how scriptures can be applied to backsliding believers or those who don't know God. We want to know what God says about backsliders and unbelievers. Does God give them a second chance or nth chance? The prophets of old have depicted God's heart for the lost and so did the apostles, the reason we analyse it from Jesus' view is to stop all contradictions. For some might want to discard what the prophets or the apostles wrote but at least if they hear that from the mouth of Jesus, it might settle their heart on this issue. For Jesus said: he only says what the Father tells to Him, and teaches what the Father teaches Him, as He hears, he declares it to us (John 5:30, John 7:16-17, John 8: 28, John 8:38). So if Jesus said it concerning unsaved people or backsliders, it was the Father's and the Holy Spirit's will too, for they are always in agreement.

David was a man after God's own heart for the Lord said: the LORD has sought for Himself a man after His own heart, and the LORD has commanded him to be captain over His people David was also a man who loved justice and righteousness like God; for the foundation of God's throne is righteousness and justice . The Lord loves righteousness and Justice. So when Nathan told David the story of the ewe lamb of the poor man that the rich man took, the nature of God in him for justice was stirred up, he wanted to avenge the poor man because he had been defrauded. David committed that sexual immorality in the night and did it secretly, he thought only a few people were aware of that sexual immorality that he committed . For in the story of David's adultery, it was at evening and David sent messengers to take Bathsheba. David was sure that his messenger would keep it secret. ,  people often think that God does not see what is done in the dark! however it does not matter to God darkness or light are the same to God. David later said: Where shall I go from Your Spirit? Or where shall I flee from Your presence? If I go up into Heaven, You are there; if I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there. If I take the wings of the morning and dwell in the furthest parts of the sea; even there shall Your hand lead me, and Your right hand shall hold me. If I say, Surely the darkness shall cover me, even the night shall be light around me. Yea, the darkness does not hide from You; but the night shines as the day; as is the darkness, so is the light to You. So you see, brothers and sisters you and I cannot hide from the presence of the Lord or from His Spirit.

Believers of old have undertaken this return journey and we all must take the same journey in our walk of faith. This ancient journey is a Return journey from Gilgal to Jordan-East. Everybody has to board the train at Gilgal and we will be calling at Bethel, Jericho, Jordan and Jordan-East.

The reason for this study is to refresh our knowledge concerning the bases or foundations of prayer. Prayer cannot be taught, but at the same time must be taught. Our mind-sets must be changed or renewed when it comes to prayer. It is just a conversation that one has with his Heavenly Father, with his elder brother Jesus and with his Helper the Holy Spirit. It is a time of communion or fellowship with the Godhead. The fellowship that we have with the Godhead, we want everybody to have; it is not peculiar to a few but available to all (1John 1:3). Abecedary is what is formed by the letters of the alphabet, or the A, B, C of anything, like we have the A,B,C of cooking, of driving, or football, of rugby, of swimming, it simply means the foundation blocks upon which something is built. If we for instance talk about the Abecedary of numeracy, we have our ten digits from zero to nine, with those ten digits we can form any number in the world, we have the addition, the multiplication, division and subtraction and with those operators we can make any calculus. If we take the abecedary of literacy, we have our twenty-six letters of the alphabet and with those consonants and vowels, we can create any word, verb and adjective and form a sentence to communicate any thought. Just like we needed to be taught the foundation blocks of numeracy and literacy, so that we will be able to relate with the world around us and be independent, not needing anybody to talk for us because we cannot express our thoughts, or to do the shopping and sign contracts for us, because we cannot count or do simple arithmetic operations. Likewise we also need to be taught the foundation blocks of prayer, so that we will be able to relate with our Heavenly Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit without any intermediary or middleman.

Many of us can relate to the story of that woman caught in the very act of adultery or any other sin. Even well meaning, born again believers miss the mark sometimes. We ask ourselves these questions will Jesus forgive me or will he condemn me. Should I hide my sins from God? Maybe it is better for me to run away from God, for He is so Holy and cannot stand sin and sinful people? These are legitimate questions which require answers. What is the opinion of Jesus on this matter of sin?

The purpose of this study is to give believers some basis of how to receive divine guidance. Many believers are afraid to hear from God; some even believe God does not speak to people today. On a daily basis each one of us must hear from God.

The aim of this study is to equip born again believers in the practical knowledge of praise and worship. Many times we have a wrong understanding or rather a limited understanding of what God means by praise and worship. God expects us to praise Him every day, even when we do not feel like praising Him. We will discover in this study that it is possible to praise God every day. God gave His people the Hebrews seven words for praise; it is the perfect plan of God for us.

We, as born again believers, are called to be sons and daughters who are serving in the kingdom of God, but at the same time friends of God. Malachi prophecies of our day, in the New Covenant, that God will treat us as sons who are serving the Father (Malachi 3:17). Paul tells us in the New Covenant: you are no longer servant or slave but son, and if a son then an heir of God through Christ (Galatians 4:7). Many born again believers do not know why they serve their Father God, and have so many questions about the attitude they should have, when they are serving the Lord. We will not be having an exhaustive study, but will try to make it as succinct as possible, going straight to the point, many other aspects of service are developed in depth, if one takes each aspect of service on its own. But our purpose is to have a glimpse of what it means to serve the Lord.

The message of Jesus was about the kingdom, not an earthly kingdom but a heavenly kingdom. The main theme of Jesus in the four gospels is the kingdom of heaven. In this study we will be looking at the leaven in the bread, what it means and what its implications in the life of a born again believer are. Our main scripture for this is taken from Matthew 13:33.

Is it right for Christians to celebrate Halloween, Christmas, Easter and Pentecost. This study tells us all we need to know.

As I was praying and reading my bible, I had so many questions in my heart, and I wanted to know what was in the heart of God. I look at our fallen world and I see so much suffering around me, and especially so much suffering of women and their children when the father of those children has bailed out. I did not want to focus on the action of the man, but I wanted to know what God had to say about these countless women and their children, who have been left on their own. I cried out to the Lord: What do you have to say Jesus?

Many times believers go through fire in their life, marriage, work place, family, studies, health, wealth, etc. The questions that are in all the minds are: why me? Will I ever come out of that fire alive? Will God show up? And if He does show up, will it be too late? The fire is real, and no one can describe the temperature of the flames better than you, because you can feel them. We will see the example of believers who went through fire in their days, and how God helped them.

Whenever we talk about prosperity people are already hardening their hearts; because they think that God is after their money. Unfortunately some preachers who have been labelled "prosperity preachers" have carried that prosperity message beyond its proper boundaries. There is a true and balanced prosperity preaching that lines up with the written word of God, and not the greed of some so called "ministers of god". We will see in this teaching what God said about prosperity of His people, and we will learn how to avoid being manipulated by people. I want to let everybody know up front, that a person, who does not give his tithe or offering, will not go to hell. Let no one put fear into your hearts that not giving to God will send a person to hell. It is not in the bible.

In the days of Jesus, the people used to work for twelve hours in a day. They would receive a wage of one denarius for that twelve hour shift,. Jesus tells us, that the Landowner is God the Father. When we are serving God, we can expect to receive something from Him. God Himself tells us, that it is not in vain that we are serving the Lord. He is no respecter of persons and treats all the same. He is an honest employer.

We are all searching for what we think we need in life without realising that God has a bigger plan for our lives. God has a kingdom he wants to bestow upon our shoulders. He wants to make us captain over His people.  

From the account of Mark we see how the disciples and Jesus were caught up in the middle of a windstorm at sea. The Ship or boat can be equated to a ministry, a church, a career, a family, a business, etc. The Ship cannot harbour for ever. We are sometimes comfortable where we are, for we have moored the ship. The question one must ask himself is: does God intend me to remain here all my life?

We have all heard countless times about this phrase: we are the salt of the earth. But what is the understanding that the disciples had when they heard it from the mouth of Jesus? One thing we must understand: Jesus and his disciples did not live in the 21st century. We must put ourselves in the shoes of the people of the 1st century, and understand this saying according to their everyday life and their customs.

The beginning of miracles Jesus did in Cana of Galilee by turning water into wine revealed His glory. And His disciples believed on Him. Many of us, including myself, plan our lives outside God's counsel; we invite everybody but Jesus and His disciples. Be it a wedding, a career, a business or anything else; one can apply this scripture in his particular case and extract the principles behind the text. Just like in the days of John the apostle, when he narrated this event, he knew the mindset of the people. We invite people into our life, because we believe that they can help us and make everything go as planned. We take counsel form them, and they make us laugh, thus we think we really do not need Jesus right now. For the master or the governor of the feast, was the person who had the upper seat at the wedding, he was the one making everybody laugh, he was making sure that the party was going on well, and everybody was merry. As long as everything was going on as planned, Jesus and his disciples were were shelved; this leads us to our first point.
