Perfect Redemption Plan Series

JEHOVAH TSIDKENU : THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS We will be doing a series on the perfect redemption plan of God for every believer whether they know it or not, it has been ransomed in full. Whether they embrace it or reject it; it is their own responsibility. God provided it for every believer, and even for unbelievers if they come to Christ they will enjoy these redemptive blessings. I decided to call it the perfect redemption plan of God, because it is complete and there is nothing to add to it. No amount of prayers, fasts, singings, penances, pilgrimages to "holy lands" can add anything to that full ransom Jesus paid when He died on that cross at Calvary. And furthermore, if Jesus were to come back and do it again, He would add nothing to it, it is complete and forever will be complete. The redemptive plan of God started from the Old Testament and God used seven redemptive names to reveal to the people of Israel His perfect redemption plan. JEHOVAH SHALOM, THE LORD IS OUR PEACE Gideon had the revelation of Jehovah-Shalom, the Lord is our peace. The Hebrew word for peace is Shalom which means: peace, happy, health, prosperity, restoration, wholeness, well, safe. Gideon had the restoration of the land of Israel which was occupied by the Midianites, they could dwell safely within their borders when they defeated the Midianites. The Lord is our peace, we do not have to fear our enemies any more, or fear the wrath of God anymore, God has not given us the Spirit of fear, but of power, love and sound mind. The fear of God that we are to have is a reverential fear, the reverential fear that a son or daughter has for his or her father. Peace does not means absence of conflict or war, for when Jehovah-Shalom appeared to Gideon it was to send him to war against the enemies of the Jews. Jehovah-Shalom will give you rest from your enemies around you and will utterly destroy them.

JEHOVAH SHAMMAH: THE LORD IS PRESENT OR THE LORD IS THERE The need for God's presence. In part I of the Perfect Redemption Plan, we explained that in the beginning, when God created Adam and Eve, they were in the very presence of God. They were living in Eden, the Garden of the Lord. God would come in the cool of the day and commune with them. Furthermore God was also in them, for He breathed Himself in them (Genesis 2:7). But when Adam and Eve sinned, they were banished [to banish means to condemn, to exile, or to compel to leave one's country, by authority of the prince or government, either for life or for a limited time] from the presence of God, and God was no longer in them either. We have explained how God made it possible to get rid of sin in our life, by the death and resurrection of Jesus, so that He could breathe Himself into us again, when we are born again and impute His righteousness unto us.

JEHOVAH RAAH, THE LORD IS OUR GUIDE, our SHEPHERD, our PASTOR We are building the same Kingdom of God, and there is no need to fight over the sheep. Jesus says: No one can come to Me unless the Father who has sent Me draw him, and I will raise him up at the last day (John 6:44). The same goes for you and me: God will send us our sheep; after all they are His sheep! He just entrusts them to our care. If you act according to the scriptures; God will give you a sphere of influence and your sheep will be your disciples. You might be just a teacher to others, but to those whom God will draw you to, you will be a discipler. They imitate you as you imitate Christ Jesus (1Corinthians 11:1). Paul says: For though you have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet you do not have many fathers; for I have begotten you in Christ Jesus through the gospel. Therefore I beseech you, be imitators of me (1Corinthians 4:15-16).

JEHOVAH JIREH : THE LORD OUR PROVIDER, God has provided Himself a Lamb . God gave dominion over the earth to mankind, in the book of Genesis. He bound Himself to only operate on earth, when we allow him to do so. He found father Abraham, and made a blood covenant with Father Abraham in Genesis 15. In a blood covenant normally the two parties cutting the covenant, must both walk between the animals' parts, but when God made a covenant with Abraham, He put Abram into a deep sleep, and a burning torch passed between the pieces. The burning torch is Jesus, who is the burning bush, who spoke to Moses in Exodus 3. Abraham understood what it meant. It meant in that covenant, God would do everything. Abraham only had to obey Him, but God would do everything, and if at a point, someone needed to die, it would not be in the household of Abraham, but of God, for Abraham never passed between those pieces, but Jesus did…..

JEHOVAH RAPHA: THE LORD IS OUR PHYSICIAN, THE LORD IS OUR HEALER. In part I of The Perfect Redemption Plan, we have seen God's dream of having a family and communing with them. Satan, who was envious of the relationship God had with mankind, and because they were in the image and likeness of God, came to crash the party. He deceived mankind, and we fell and were kicked out of God's presence. With the fall of mankind came death, sicknesses, diseases, torments, etc. Satan is not satisfied to carry people with him into hell but also wants to make their life miserable and painful on earth. He wants to shorten their days on earth so that they won't have time to give their life to Christ, and be delivered from the power of darkness. God Has Plan…

JEHOVAH NISSI THE LORD IS OUR BANNER, THE LORD IS OUR VICTORY. The word Rephidim means balusters: in other words many balusters have been placed around a location to form a balustrade which is a row of balusters, joined by a rail, serving as a fence. Rephidim or Rephiydiym is the plural of the word Rephiydah which means bottom. Therefore Rephidim also means bottoms. In our Christian pilgrimage we might find ourselves in places we do not like, it may seem to us as if we have reached the bottom of the bottomless pit. We do not know how we will ever come out of that bottomless pit. We have nobody to help us; we have nobody to provide for us, we have nobody to vouch for us, etc. Here we see the children of Israel in the wilderness, they arrived at Riphidim, and they did not know how their thirst would be quenched in the wilderness!
