My name is Chelsea Thomas AKA CT. I’m morphing! It started four years ago when I met fairies. We moved to Louisiana. I was eleven years old. I have this wild head of red hair. Little, did I know the attraction it would hold for Fae. I saw lights out back in the forest and followed them one night. I made a wish and it was granted although it would be a few years before total comprehension settled in. First came real live fairies in the form of Fia and Liam and their thousands of followers in their secret portal world. I found out fairies, ghosts, witches and even trolls are real. I even met my own personal Angel. Who does this? Just when I'm breathing easier from my first exciting journey, I discover real ghosts in my back yard. I learned that sometimes you need a good friend you can trust and yes it can be a boy. His name is Johnny Granger AKA Grasshopper, and he became my cohort in crime. As if we didn't have enough excitement enter the mean wicked witch into our lives. We've had one mystery after another to solve and they've all affected me personally ever since meeting my fae friends. At age fourteen I’ve developed many awesome powers and I'm changing. However, I never expected to grow wings. I can’t undo what is happening to my body and I wouldn’t now even if I could. I’m evolving and finding out I am unique after all. I embrace my new future. I am CT and I am Fae. My story’s not finished yet.

It's Halloween in Louisiana so seeing ghosts should be no big deal. Except when they are real. There's not one but two following CT and Grasshopper around. What do these two lonely ghosts want from CT? How come no one else is seeing them? CT gets a valuable lesson in friendship and trust as she reaches out to let a skinny long-legged boy into her mysterious circle. They'll find out they both have more in common then they could have imagined. They'll need help from their new fae friends to solve this riddle by Halloween night. As if fairies and ghosts aren't enough to cause trouble, they'll have to keep their secret from their family and school friends. This will be one for CT's secret journal. It will be the best-kept secret this Halloween. Mr. Sumpton's Ghost deals with a few issues of today but handled age-appropriately at a young person's level. It is hard to explain to children or young people that there are good and bad and that there are people who sometimes don't treat others the right way. It follows a new friendship between CT and Johnny, aka Grasshopper. It's an emotional book that teaches you the importance of friendships, helping others, and not running away from your fears. You don't always face them alone and it seems a Ghost or two won't stop the young duo. Although if we all could call on our fairy friends to handle things for us, the world would be a much nicer place for all.

CT just turned twelve. After meeting live Fairies & Ghosts, she didn't think anything else could surprise her. Not even the return of Vernon the Witch, long thought dead. Ct has started getting strange headaches & blackouts every time the witch is near. She can feel the hatred and danger emanating from this witch. What does Vernon want with CT? Vernon is feared by all Fae as she is the only one who could destroy them all. Enter Lil John the Angel who will be instrumental to CT and Grasshoppers' survival. Why does none of them notice the similarities in the boys first name? Angel will have a few decisions to make involving life and death as it becomes clear, he is the only one Vernon fears as she turns away from his light. The Fae's survival could also depend on this angel.

As CT and Johnny enter high school, they can't ignore all the changes taking place in their lives. CT's final journey is one you read about in fairy-tails. They realize their lives will never be the same. Their final journey has them jumping from mortal to fae realm. They realize the power of friendship & love will get them through anything. As long as they continue to chase the lights, it will lead them to their new home. CT made a wish. Her wish was granted. This can't have been in vain. She's morphing and her life will never be as she knew once it. However, with her wish comes sacrifices. Their new Saga Continues this summer.
