Chasing The Lights Series

  When CT, a stubborn young girl with a vivid imagination begins to see floating lights in the forest, she's drawn to them. These magical flying beings are leading her into a world within her own and she's not afraid to chase them.  As she begins her new adventure, one can wonder what dangers lie within the forest. It's Halloween in Louisiana. After finding Fairies in the forest behind her house, Ghosts should be no big deal. Except when they expect CT & Johnny to solve their problems before Halloween night. This could be the best-kept secret this Halloween.  How will CT and Johnny solve the riddle of the two lonely ghosts? As if fairies and ghosts aren't enough to cause trouble for them, they'll have to keep their secret from their family and school friends. Special friendships forge as one friend reaches out to CT & Johnny for help.  As the two searches for the connection between both ghosts, they delve deeper into the world of magic and the supernatural. This is one Halloween they won't forget.

      At age twelve, after discovering Fairies & Ghost are real. CT didn't think anything else could surprise her. Not even the return of Vernon the Witch, long thought dead according to Fae Legend. She can feel the hatred emanating from this witch. Her headaches and blackouts grow more severe every time Vernon is nearby. CT is unsure of what this witch could want with her however, she soon discovers she needs to fight for her life. Her life won't be the only one in danger. Soon after the headaches begin, a mysterious Angel by the name of Lil John appears. Could he be instrumental to not only CT and Grasshoppers' survival but also the Fae's?  

  It's been four years since I chased those mysterious lights into the forest, lights that turned out to be Fairies. A wish was made. Johnny and I have only just begun to grasp our new reality of my impending changes. I realize now once the connection was made between the Fae and myself, there was nothing I could have done. Alongside the possible danger of my transformation looming over us, a new risk poses a threat to us.  What could my nightmares of a great fairy war mean? Because of my actions we could all be doomed. Something, someone, must save us all. This can't just end this way. There must be more. My name is CT. I am becoming Fae.

The smile vanished from my face as a dark ominous cloud crossed my peripheral vision threatening to ruin what had promised to be a sunny relaxing day in our new home on Nenagh Realm high above Ireland. I was so naive years ago when as a human child I made that fateful wish, to become a fairy. I was young and didn't realize the magnitude of what I was about to bring down upon not only myself but all those who loved and cared for me. I thought all Fae were pure of heart, loving and friendly, but I was wrong. Enter the Dark Fae known to be ruthless and heartless. They have no honor; they kill and take what they want. However, they underestimate the power of my fae family. Let them come, we are ready to battle, to fight for what is ours. We will not be defeated. This is the battle for Nenagh Realm.

The dark highway stretched out before us. The night sky graced us with millions of twinkling stars. Somewhere out there in a distant realm lay our new home just waiting for us to discover it. We would leave earth behind. I smiled over at Johnny. He squeezed my hand as if to assure me he was ok with our decision. At age eighteen and twenty we made the move to distance ourselves from our family. Once my wings developed it became harder hiding my secret and controlling my powers.  It was just so painful knowing we would never see our mothers again. We would be erased from their memories. They'd never feel any pain but we would. I had one secret yet to share with Johnny, one I dreaded. As a fae I can go through the portal world but he's human. The only way he can go with me is to die. He must die in order to be re-born as a fae. This has to work. I won't give him up. 

Johnny and I had no idea when we rescued two human babies from the clutches of a witch and a dark fae, these babies would morph into full-fledged adult fairies within months. History not only repeat itself but escalated far surpassing all we had experienced thus far. Our lives were about to be changed even more so than we could have anticipated. The wish I made that was granted years ago had affected not only our lives but the lives of all we loved. We retracted our wings as we left the lavender cobbled path, stepping through the protective portal shield into Eadrom Castle where we would welcome our newest proteges Celinda and Zephyr to their new home. A war was upon us; they were the chosen ones to lead.  Enter Fairies, Trolls, Ghosts, Witches & Demons, Angels, and now powerful Nephilim's. Mix in a little maturity with age & lots of fairy dust and you have my story of an amazing adventure. This is where Johnny and CT's story end's, and Celinda & Zephyr begins.   Now comes the grand conclusion to the epic Coming of Age Fantasy Series starring beloved Chelsea Thomas AKA CT and Johnny Granger AKA Grasshopper.
