About this series

What was the purpose of the massive curtain, or veil, that was in the temple in Jerusalem? And what is so significant about the fact that it was torn from the top to the bottom at the precise time Jesus died on the cross? The answer to these questions should have you looking at how you approach God.
Theologian Timothy Luke Johnson says that the tearing of the temple curtain could symbolise "the end of the old covenant of atonement through animal sacrifice and the beginning of a 'new covenant'" (Johnson 379). In this "New Covenant" a priest would no longer be needed.
Even to this day when Moses is read, a veil covers their hearts. But whenever anyone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.
Scripture says, when Jesus died, the veil was torn from top to bottom. If the earthquake that happened at Jesus' death had ripped the curtain, it would have been torn from the bottom upward as the earth separated
Learn the truth from the only place you will find it. In God's bible.

To properly understand the immortality, or otherwise, of the human soul requires researching the scriptures with an open mind. A mind that is ready to accept what God reveals in His most amazing book.  The answer I have arrived at will be controversial and most people who belong to a tradition church will have been taught a very different understanding of our immortality. When the good people die, they go to Heaven, but when those who have done wrong die, they will live for all eternity in Hell. A place where they will be eternally tormented for their sins against God. My question here is just what sins warrant this type of punishment? Is there any sins so bad for God to punish those who commit them to this type of abuse and torture? The God I know is loving and compassionate. I do not believe He is that cruel and uncaring. That said, I believe in a place called Hell, and it is certainly a place reserved for Satan. As for those who refuse to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord of Lords and King of Kings their future is in the lake of fire as is clearly described for us in Rev 20:15 If anyone was not found written in the book of life, he was cast into the lake of fire. This may sound like they have been cast into eternal damnation, but now let us consider Mal 4:3  "You shall tread down the wicked; for they will be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I make," says Yahweh of Armies. They will be ashes, annihilated in the fire, nothing left but ashes. This is the fate of the wicked who refuse to repent of their sins and turn to God. Not eternal punishing, but eternal punishment. There is a major difference between these two ideas. The first is non-stop punishing, while the second is to be punished once and for all. It will be eternal, because once they have become ashes, there will no longer be any part of them surviving either in Heaven or Hell. This is the punishment of a loving, just, and kind God.

How Long Was Jesus Christ in the Tomb: Bible Studies, #3

The traditional way to celebrate the Easter season is to celebrate Friday (good Friday) as the day they crucified Jesus, and Sunday morning as the time of His resurrection. However, this contradicts how God commanded Christ's death and resurrection to be observed.  First, we must decide who we will believe. Almighty God and His holy scriptures, or are we going to follow the traditions of man? Surely, if you seek the truth, your only source of information and inspiration can be from the bible. Pro 25:2 It is the glory of God to conceal a thing, but the glory of kings is to search out a matter.  When you are seeking a matter, please do not forget the Old Testament. Too many people today regard this book as being old and irrelevant to our modern day and age. But what does the word of God have to say on this matter? 2Ti 3:16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness. All scripture means exactly what is says. ALL SCRIPTURE, both the old and the new testaments. One point I would like to make here is simply this. God The Father and Jesus Christ had all eternity prior to their creating the earth to work out how everything was going to happen, and in what order. They have made no mistakes, and there is absolutely nothing left to chance, or anything that was an afterthought. They carefully planned the entire creation to draw our attention to something enormous. Therefore, surely we can trust that the order of events at the time of Christ's crucifixion, burial, and resurrection, as recorded in the scriptures, is exactly correct down to the hour. When Jesus kept the Passover meal in the early hours of the 14th of Nisan, just after sunset, He did not get His timing wrong, and when He died on the cross in the late afternoon of that same day, again, He did not get the timing wrong.  Whenever Jesus speaks, we should pay very careful attention to what He is saying. God Himself has given this excellent advice in the following verse. Mar 9:7 Then a cloud appeared and covered them, and a voice came from the cloud: "This is my Son, whom I love. Listen to him!" The first thing I will say in this short introduction is this. The most important piece of scripture we need to unravel this mystery is in Mat 12:39.  Mat 12:39 He answered, "A wicked and adulterous generation asks for a sign! But none will be given it except the sign of the prophet Jonah." The leaders of the Synagogue were challenging Jesus and wanted a sign from Him to prove He was their Messiah. His answer is in the verse above. PLEASE LISTEN TO HIM. These people wanted a sign and Jesus gave them one, and please understand that there was only going to be one sign. And that was the sign of Jonah, as recorded in the next verse. Mat 12:40 For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of a huge fish, so the Son of Man will be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.  This is vital to comprehend correctly. Only one sign, the sign of Jonah, three days and three nights. So how long is this ACCORDING TO SCRIPTURE? The answer is clear at the very start of the bible in Genesis chapter one. This is recording the events of the creation week. Gen 1:13 And there was evening, and there was morning—the third day.  Unfortunately, I do not have room enough to display all of this verse, but here in verse 13 we see the perfect description - ACCORDING TO SCRIPTURE - of three days and three nights. When we come to verse 13, we have seen three periods of day and three periods of night, and even today, that can only add up to 72 hours. If Jesus was not this long in the tomb, then He is an impostor, a fraud, and not the Son of God as He claims to be. If you read this book, PLEASE LISTEN TO HIM!!!

Do not conform to the ways of this world. As Christians living in a foreign land, how do we live while waiting to inherit our home in God's Kingdom? We must live in this present world while we are waiting. With all of its evil, crime, and temptations, we must resist the temptations to do what the rest of the world is doing. We must not conform to the standards of the world.  Christians are to come out of this lifestyle and live according to the laws set up by God. We must know how we are living and not just fit into the ways of this world. We must always be aware of our actions and allow the Holy Spirit to guide us. This is not a simple thing to do, as the pressures and temptations of this world are powerful.  It is just too easy to fall into our old ways of living.  God tells us in "Rom 12:2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will." When we accepted Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour, we became a new creation, as we see in 2Cor 5:17. "Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new." We must resist the temptation to follow the world, or in other words, we must not conform.  The best way to avoid the ways of this world is to keep reading the words from God, The Bible.  It is very easy to follow others, especially if we have family members, friends and relatives who are not interested in following Jesus. We may follow their examples because we are afraid of offending them. And if we do not conform, we will be left out of activities that we would usually attend. We may be alienated from our families, and this can be extremely difficult.  It is up to us to choose between Jesus and our families. We must renew our minds and follow the advice from Philippians chapter 4 and verse 8. "Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honourable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things."   This is the best advice I can give to anyone who is seeking the truth about God and what He expects from those who wish to worship Him. This road is straight and narrow and is the only way to the Kingdom.

Three Days and Three Nights: Bible Studies, #1

Was Jesus Christ three days and three nights in the tomb? We know that He was buried about sunset on the day He was crucified. And from the scriptures we know He claimed He would be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth, the same time as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish. So if Jesus was to rise from the grave after this time frame, which was the only sign that He would give to the Pharisees and Sadducees, Then what day and hour did He rise from the dead? This is a very controversial subject and there are several differing answers. The only place we can get an accurate answer is from the word of God. The Holy Bible. I wrote this book as a result of my personal studies on this subject. Traditional Christianity follows the Good Friday crucifixion and resurrected on Sunday Morning. Other Christian groups believe in a Wednesday Afternoon burial and a Saturday or Sabbath day Resurrection three days later. From the time of His death and burial, how many hours was the Son of Man to be in the grave before He was resurrected from the dead? Which one is correct and is it possible to prove it from the scriptures alone? The correct answer to the question "When did Jesus rise from the tomb" may be a surprise to many readers. I have given many scripture references to back up what I have written. So please get your own bible down and check these references to make sure what I have quoted  is accurate. God bless you for reading.

The Law of Moses: Bible Studies, #4

The holy scriptures are not always easy to read and understand. The Old Testament has many laws that are impossible for us to keep. Consider some of the following laws. Should we apply capital punishment for incorrigible children? (Exodus 21:18-21), for those caught in adultery? And if you will be honest with yourself, this will include a vast number of people today (Leviticus 20:10). What about the false teachers among us (Deuteronomy 13:1-11), should we be stoning them to death? These laws were established for the Jewish nation. They were not then to be passed onto the Church. The Church was established just over 50 days after Jesus died on the cross. At his death the new covenant came into effect and this is the law Christians are meant to keep today. Jesus has been described as being of greater worth than Moses, Moses himself tells us there would come another prophet, and we must listen to him. And that prophet was Jesus Christ. When Jesus was baptised in the river by John. God the Father's voice was heard, and he also said "listen to him". We cannot keep both laws, so we must keep either one or the other. The new laws of Jesus Christ came into effect the moment Jesus died on the cross, and these are the laws all people must keep. Jews and Christians alike. Keeping these laws is the only way to be seen as righteous in the eyes of God.

Abraham, Jesus and the Cross: Bible Studies, #5

We live in a world where there is a great deal of misinformation. Since the time of Jesus Christ, many people have interpreted what happened during the time of the Passover season and the Feast of unleavened bread differently. The time of the day Jesus died on the cross is very well documented, so there can be no disagreement about that. But the time when the Passover meal should be eaten is a completely different matter. There is a great deal of confusion about when we should partake of the Passover. Some claim the Passover should be celebrated at the very start of the day immediately after the sun has set and the 14th of Nisan is just beginning. Others will argue it should take place late in the afternoon, at the same time Jesus died on the cross. Still others claim it must be observed at the start of the 15th of Nisan, just after sunset on the 14th. With all these different interpretations for this event, how can we possibly know what is right and what is wrong. This is where we must trust the word of God to come to our rescue and lead us into the truth. The bible will reveal the truth if we are willing to read this amazing book with an open mind and heart.  I always rely on God's holy bible to interpret itself, it is absolutely amazing how it can do this, which is further proof that God is the real author of this book. It may have been written by many different men, but they were all inspired by the Holy Spirit and guide for every word recorded. We have been reassured of this in the book of 2 Peter in the New Testament. 2Pe 1:20 knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of private interpretation. If you read this book, please follow along with your own bible and check everything I write. You should never trust what any man will tell you. Please always refer to the word of God to find the truth in this as well as in other matters.

The Thief On The Cross Alongside Jesus Christ: Bible Studies, #12

What can we learn from the thief crucified on the cross alongside Jesus? Why was this event recorded at all, and can we learn anything important from this event? First, let us consider who this person was. Nowhere has his history been recorded for us, but we can presume he was not an amiable person. He was obviously a thief, and who knows what other crimes he may have committed to earn the death sentence? In Luke 23:39 to 42, we see the confession of this criminal. He admits he is guilty and deserving of the penalty he is now about to pay. It is very important to note here that he also says Jesus has done nothing wrong. Then he calls Jesus Lord and then asks Jesus to remember him when He comes into His Kingdom. In doing this, he is acknowledging Jesus as his Messiah. Showing Jesus he has faith in who he is. This event is recorded for us in Luke 23 verses 39 to 42. Luk 23:39  One of the criminals who was hanged insulted him, saying, "If you are the Christ, save yourself and us!"  Luk 23:40  But the other answered, and rebuking him said, "Don't you even fear God, seeing you are under the same condemnation?  Luk 23:41  And we indeed justly, for we receive the due reward for our deeds, but this man has done nothing wrong."  Luk 23:42  He said to Jesus, "Lord, remember me when you come into your Kingdom."  When we consider this event, we realise the following points about this criminal. He would not have been baptised. Nor had he ever followed Jesus nor prayed to Him. By his own confession, he was a thief and deserving of his penalty. He was only a matter of a few hours from his death when he asks Jesus to remember him.

Teachers During The Tribulation: Bible Studies, #10
Teachers During The Tribulation: Bible Studies, #10

The theory of a pre-tribulation rapture is a very misleading and dangerous theory that will lead many away from God. People who are expecting this to happen to them will be bitterly disappointed in God when the tribulation finally begins, and they find themselves still here on the earth.  In the book of 2 Thessalonians, we are warned that many will fall away, will turn away from God. I believe those who are expecting to be raptured, and are not, will be some of those who fall away. They will say God has broken His promise to them and failed to rapture them to Heaven when the troubles start. But God has never promised to rapture anyone before the tribulation starts. This is just the theory of man. Please consider the enormous number of people who have been murdered over the years for their trust and obedience to God. Then ask yourself why you are any better or more worthy than any of them. No one is worthy of anything from God. We are all sinners and all deserve the death penalty. It is only through the death of Jesus Christ that we have a hope for anything in the future. To be afraid of standing up for Jesus. To seek the easy way out is to be a coward. Read what Jesus tells us the fate of the cowardly will be in Rev 21:8. Rev 21:8  But for the cowardly, unbelieving, sinners, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their part is in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death." This would be an unbelievably terrible fate for anyone, and especially for those who were once believers, but threw their faith away because they were not raptured. I believe the time of the tribulation could easily be during this year, 2023. If you are one of those who is hoping for the rapture to take you away from the troubles of this world, please remember this book. Remember, there are people who absolutely do not believe in this theory. Please accept this has never been God's intention. This is purely the teachings of who are seeking the easy way out of the tribulation. This is a teaching from man, and certainly not something God has revealed in His bible. If you are aware of this, it may just save you from becoming hostile towards God and losing your place in His Kingdom. What it will require of you is to repent, and that just means to change the way you think about God. Understand what God has promised those who remain faithful to him to the end. To the end of the seven years of the tribulation. They will be an incredibly difficult seven years, but God is faithful to all of His promises. Again, if you believe in a pre-tribulation rapture, please remember there are many who do not. Turn to these people and seek the truth from them. While you are waiting to be raptured, keep the possibility that you are wrong in your mind, then when you are not raptured, repent and turn to God. If you are raptured, then you will have the last laugh on us. If you are not then we are ready to help you in any way we can. God bless you for reading this book. If you do!!

Living By Faith in Jesus Christ. This book is about faith in God, so before I go any further, I must remind you. Or if you are new to the idea of faith, then I need to explain to you how the Bible describes faith. A massively important subject for any Christian to understand, and if you apply it to your life, then you will experience a major change in how you live.  This will apply to every section of your life. From your marriage, to your work, to your finances, to your family, and your relationship with God. It will be impossible to say you have faith in God if there is no change in the way you live your life. If there is one change in your life that will cause family and friends to wonder what you are doing, then showing your faith in God will have a massive impact on your relationship with everyone around you. When you first start out having faith in God, it will be difficult. But as time goes by and you grow more and more in faith. The journey will slowly become easier. The only real promise I can make for you is that it will not be any simple thing to do. Changing your lifestyle is bound to bring opposition from people who know you. Being a Christian in this present day and age is to go against what most of the world believe. Look around and see the hatred that is exposing itself on social media, and on many news outlets for Christians, Christian teachings and the Jewish people. If you feel the need to find God, to find answers to our troubles today, then the only place you will find the answers is in the Bible. So now let us see how the Bible describes faith. The answer is in the book of Hebrews, Chapter 11 and verse 1. Heb 11:1 Now faith is assurance of things hoped for, proof of things not seen.

Is Being Fearful A Sin Against God: Bible Studies, #8

Fear is something we all face almost every day. Sometimes it is just a small fear, and at other times it is almost a paralysing fear. The fear I want to discuss in this book is the fear we have for God, and not so much fearing how we are going to live and provide for our families. There are two different kinds of fear for God. There is the fear that wants us to keep our distance from God, to not come into his presence unless we are harmed in some way. Our consciences tell us we are not worthy to approach our God. This type of fear will always drive us away from God. Then there is the Godly fear we must all have. This fear is not terror or panic, but is reverence and awe at who he is. This type of fear should draw us closer to him and wanting to be in his presence. Listen to how the bible describes how we should approach God. Heb 4:14 Having therefore a great High Priest, Who has passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, we should hold fast the confession of our faith.  Heb 4:15 For we do not have a high priest who cannot empathise with our weaknesses, but One Who was tempted in all things according to the likeness of our own temptations; yet He was without sin.  Heb 4:16 Therefore, we should come with boldness to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.  Keep this thought in mind as you read the rest of this book.

The Imminence of the Rapture is a False Teaching.: Bible Studies, #14

This book discusses the theory of the imminence of the rapture. There are several theories about the timing of this event and one very popular theory is the pre-tribulation rapture, and that it is imminent, meaning it can happen at any moment with no prior warning signs that would alert us to when it will occur. This is a very misleading and incorrect theory, as there are many signs in scripture that are written for us to be aware of, and to be warnings about the approaching return of Jesus Christ and his gathering of his elect, or the rapturing his elect. Please read this book with an open mind and just accept what you will learn from the bible as the truth. Do not accept the theories and false teachings of men over the word of God.

Why Is There So Much Suffering In Our World: Bible Studies, #18
Why Is There So Much Suffering In Our World: Bible Studies, #18

We are now living in a world where there is a great deal of pain and suffering. Looking at the world today, we see there is starvation on a massive scale that affects millions of people. Wars are widespread and the consequences of these are devastating to everyone who lives in these war zones. Crime is rising almost by the day as people show less and less compassion to those who are less fortunate than themselves.  Then there are what I term natural disasters and sometimes "acts of God". Disasters such as earthquakes, volcanoes, floods, and fires. These are occurring with more severity and regularity than ever before. The world seems to tear itself apart. And last, but certainly not least, we see diseases of all kinds affecting almost every person on the planet. Some ailments are minor, and many can affect every part of our lives. If you are not affected, then you will at least have family or friends who are suffering pain of some sort. The pain can be physical, psychological, or spiritual. When we look at these problems we face every day, many are asking God. WHY IS THERE SO MUCH SUFFERING IN OUR WORLD? There is no simple answer to this all important question, but there are hints in God's bible if we are prepared to search for them and actually believe what we read in this amazing book. A common comment about our suffering goes like this. "Since there is so much suffering, there can be no God, otherwise He would stop all suffering". Then there are Christians who believe in the existence of God, but do not believe He can control all things. That He is not sovereign over all of His creation. What happens if we take God completely out of the picture? Now we must have what I will call a "naturalistic view" of the world. A view that excludes any form of creation, but only allows for evolution. In this case, where do we get the notion that anything is good or evil, right or wrong? It is only the human species who have these thoughts of what is morally right or wrong. All other species of animals do not share our views on these matters. If this world came about purely by evolution over a period of billions of years, and has been all about the survival of the fittest, then where do we get these values of what is right or what is wrong?  If there is no God who created all things, then we have a universe that has absolutely no design, no purpose, really no reason at all to even exist. No cause or reason for anything to be good or bad, right or wrong. All things must be just merciless indifference, with no meaning or purpose in life. How can there possibly be any good or evil, right or wrong, in an impersonal universe that came about by "time and chance", by "survival of the fittest" and "evolution?" If the universe doesn't care if an act is good or evil. Then why should we? I certainly do not have all the answers to the question "why is there so much suffering in the world", and I know that no one else does either. God and only God knows what is happening, and He knows the reason for anything that happens in any part of His universe. We must accept that He is supreme and sovereign and has a plan that involves us all. If you purchase this book, I sincerely hope you can use it to begin your own studies about suffering. May God bless all of your efforts to understand.

What Is The Rapture: Bible Studies, #13
What Is The Rapture: Bible Studies, #13

Is the Rapture a Pre-Tribulation event, Mid-Tribulation or Post-Tribulation event? There are few prophesies in the Bible that have sparked as much debate as the timing of the rapture. It is amazing that there are so many views on this matter when presumably we all read from the same book. There are three fundamental beliefs on this matter, and they are. 1. The Pre-tribulation Rapture. The understanding here is that God's elect will be taken up into Heaven before the last seven years of the "church age". This seven years is commonly known as the tribulation. And the last three and a half years are the "great tribulation". At the end of this time, Jesus Christ will return to the earth in great power and glory and will set up His kingdom on the earth. 2. The Mid-tribulation Rapture. The second idea is the rapture event will only happen at the halfway mark of the tribulation. Three and a half years from the commencement of the tribulation, and three and a half years prior to the return of Jesus. 3. The Post-tribulation Rapture. And the final thought is the rapture will not happen until the very end of the "church age". Until all seven years of the tribulation have passed. When these seven years are completed, Jesus will return in His Father's glory to rule all nations. Obviously, there can only be one correct answer. The aim of this brook is to explore in the "Word Of God", or His Holy Bible, what God Himself has to say on this matter. I know that whatever I say, many will disagree with my thoughts. But I have spent many hours studying this prophecy and have come to my own conclusions. I believe the bible was written to be understood by simple people who do not have a vast knowledge of the scriptures. Otherwise, it would be impossible for the average bible reader to know what God is trying to reveal to them. A thorough understanding of the bible only comes with many years of dedicated study, something many people do not have the time or ability to do this in-depth study. But I believe with some careful and prayerful Bible study, the answer is there in the Bible. What it requires from the reader is an open mind prepared to learn and accept what the Bible will clearly tell them. If you approach this subject with your own ideas and just want to prove yourself right. Then this will be a total waste of your time. It is very difficult to replace a once held belief with a new understanding. But this is what you will need to do if you are determined to unveil the truth.  May God help you in your studies on this topic so you can fully understand what He will reveal to you if you are prepared to listen and accept what He is telling you.

Are You Hindered By Satan: Bible Studies, #16

There are many fictional characters in the world, some presumably that do good deeds like Superman and Wonder Woman. Then there are the villains of the peace, such as The Penguin, The Joker and Lex Luthor. Some people around the world base their lives around these make believe characters from comic books. And even though they know they are not genuine characters, their heroes still influence them. The sad thing is that, on the other hand, we have Satan. The father of all lies. Who most people in the world (adults included and maybe even especially) do not believe he exists. Or if they do believe he exists, that he has no influence over their lives. They do not see him as a threat, and he rarely enters their thoughts. If they believe in him, he is just a figure that dwells in a place called hell and is the main furnace stoker. He is just waiting for God to send down anyone who dares to sin against Him. Unfortunately, that would be all of us!! Satan has been around for a very long time and his powers are great. The only problem for him is that God has total power over him, and he can only do what God allows. We cannot see Satan or really be aware of his presence in the world. But he is not only real, he is a major threat to your future in the Kingdom of God. The book listed below will give you an outline of what Satan has tried to accomplish so far. Starting from the Garden of Eden and right up to the present day. He and his band of fallen angels, or demons, are still working their evil in today's world. An evil that we cannot see but is nonetheless affecting all our lives. I hope you will come to see that Satan is a real problem for all of humanity. But also that you see God is still in total control of the world.

Evil Is The Rejection Of God: Bible Studies, #20

Many people will claim that evil is the absence of God. This I dispute, because there is no place in all creation that God is not present. Therefore, it I not the absence of God that is the cause of evil, but it is definitely the rejection of God. There is a very big difference between these two ideas.  Ever since the Garden of Eden, humanity has rebelled against God and what he stands for. This is clearly explained to us in. Rom 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, Yes, we are all sinners, and this is one thing we simply cannot deny. To do this is to lie to ourselves, and to God. In this life, we have a real choice to make. Will we accept God into our lives? Or will we follow the ways of this world and reject God altogether. To accept God is to gain eternal life in his Kingdom. To reject him is to suffer eternal punishment. Only you can decide for yourself which way you want to go. When you realise what one of the greatest gifts God has given to all humanity, only then can you see why we have so many troubles in this world. That greatest blessing is our own free will. God will never force you to do what is right. You and you alone will have to make your own choices. But there is one thing I can guarantee you will be a result of accepting God into your life. And that is Satan will not like it, and he will do all within his power to stop you from seeking God. Every obstacle he can put in your path, he will do. He is a very clever and relentless enemy, so you must expect him to try to influence your life and to try to get you to reject God from every aspect of your existence. This short book is a place for you to start your own research and studies into this topic. May God bring you to understanding the importance of not rejecting him from your life.

Jesus The Christ: Bible Studies, #27

This book is all about God and His son Jesus Christ. Before we can delve into anything relating to God, we need to first decide if He even exists. Many atheists in the world simply cannot believe in the existence of an all-powerful creator God, who brought all things into existence simply by the power of His word. Then there are millions of Christians who, by faith, believe in God. So the first question we need to address is. Can we prove He exists? This is a question without an exact answer. It is easy for someone to declare God does not exist, but it is impossible to prove it. Conversely, for those who believe in God, there is much evidence of His existence. The whole point of this is, Christians who believe in God do so by faith because of two main reasons. First, there is the creation itself, which speaks of a designer because of its complexity, wonders, and laws that keep the entire universe operating the way it does. Then we have the written word of God, His holy bible. Regardless of what you believe, Jesus Christ is the most influential person in all of human history. Our modern calendars all start from the date of His birth, even though there is some discrepancy about the exact year of His birth. Those people who do not believe Jesus even existed have a great deal of historical proof to disprove. Apart from what is recorded for us in the bible, there is a large amount of information in non-religious writings that mention Jesus as a real person. The Jewish leaders have always acknowledged that Jesus was a real person. They just refused to accept him as their Messiah. Even the Muslims who hate both Jews and Christians believe he lived. But again, they only see him as a prophet and not as God. I will not try to persuade you that Jesus exists. There is sufficient evidence in the world to prove that approximately 2000 years ago there was a man who claimed to be the son of God, and his man was Jesus. There are many miracles he performed that could only have happened if he had the power of God. Either you are a believer or you are not. There is no half-right or half-wrong with His existence. So I will assume you are seeking proof to reinforce your beliefs.  If you believe in God, then the rest is easy. Just believe what He will reveal about Himself in his amazing book, "The Bible". And then look at His incredible handy work in the way he created: the plants, animals, insects, birds, and the vast array of living things. If you believe in evolution. Then there are many things you must prove, beyond any shadow of a doubt, that will back up what you believe. As more science is revealing a Creator caused our existence, then the theory of evolution is becoming more difficult to prove every day. There is no way our human DNA could have evolved. It is just too complex to be an accident of evolution. So now, let us establish who Jesus Christ is. To do this, I will look into God's holy scriptures for an answer in the book of John. In the first eighteen verses of this book, we get a wonderful description of Jesus and just why we believe him to be the Messiah. Or the Son Of God.

Satan is Targeting Man's Free Will: Bible Studies, #17

When God created mankind in his image, he gave us some remarkable abilities. We are so totally different to other species here on the earth, and that most certainly includes the apes. By being created in the image of God, this gave us the ability to invent and build some amazing things. Look at the world around us, and you will see the way humans live is so unique.  This is all because God gave us all the free will to do what we want. There is nothing held back from us that is possible to achieve within the laws of nature that God has designed. When man first started to fly it was because men thought it was possible to accomplish, and so they invented the aeroplane. The same for everything humans have built over time. None of these abilities have been given to any other animal. It is the sole prerogative of the human race. Our free will has been vital for these developments to take place. It is unfortunate that with our free will, we are also capable of doing a great deal of evil. Have another look at the surrounding world and see the types of evil man can do when his heart is set on doing evil instead of doing good. Satan is using our free will to draw us away from God. He is the father of lies and his intentions are to destroy us all. He is known as the deceiver of the whole world and has led many people astray. The purpose of this book is to make you aware of what he is trying to do in your life and how you can resist him.

Why The Pre-Tribulation Rapture Theory Is False: Bible Studies, #15
Why The Pre-Tribulation Rapture Theory Is False: Bible Studies, #15

Why the pre-tribulation rapture theory is false is a brief introduction to what is wrong with the theory of a pre-tribulation rapture. As you read through this book, you will come to understand why this theory is unbiblical.  Those who believe in this theory are unfortunately looking for an escape from the time of the tribulation. Their studies, if they do any at all, are in the hope of finding an escape clause in God's plans for humanity. They cling to straws and errors in the interpretations of the times in which we live. They take most of their beliefs from pastors who have themselves misunderstood the scriptures. Not only that, but they do not do their due diligence and study God's holy bible for the truth that is concealed in this amazing book. There are two very important scriptures that we should all take to heart when we study the bible. Read Pro 25 Pro 25:2  It is the glory of God to conceal a matter; to search out a matter is the glory of kings.  So we see here that God has concealed the truth on many matters throughout the bible and it is our task to dig into the scriptures to find the truth. The other scripture that backs up this idea in found in. Isa 28:10  For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little: These verses advise us to seek the truth. To know the truth on this matter is to prepare the church for what is surely coming in the near future. A time of great tribulation. A time the church will have to live through. Christians should not put their hope in a rapture to take them out of the world. They must use the little amount of time left to prepare for the tribulation, and a time when Satan will persecute the church.

Have Faith In God: Bible Studies, #23

Having Faith In God Having faith is vital for us, but how do we define it? I think we will find the answer in Hebrews 11, the faith chapter. Every one mentioned here simply took God at His word and obeyed His commands. And for this, they were all remembered for their faith. Believing the word of God and acting on what we know is living by faith. Faith is not hoping something will happen, faith is knowing that it will happen. So now the questions are, "How do we get this faith?" and "How do we increase in faith?" Our faith is not just intellectual knowledge and agreement. It is more than just acknowledging certain facts about Jesus, the Bible, the resurrection or anything else from scripture. It is taking our entire life and making a stand that is based on our confidence in these facts. Genuine faith is life changing. My aim in this book is to give you a start in your life of "having faith in God". This will be for you a lifelong pursuit, not something you can do today and then forget about it. No, the road will be long, with many twists and turns along the way. Opposition to your new found faith in God will inevitably be encountered the whole way. As you grow in faith, there will be some changes to your lifestyle. Some will be only minor changes. Others may be massive as you learn how God wants you to live. But all of them will be not only necessary but worthwhile.  Keeping your eyes and mind on the end goal of being in God's kingdom will give you the courage to face these troubles. If you feel the need to find God, to find the way to having faith in God today, then the only place you will find the answers is in the Bible. Please use this book as a stepping stone to your faithful future, and may our Almighty God bless you on your way down that road.

The Sign of Jonah: Bible Studies, #19

The vast majority of Christians will disagree with my thoughts on this topic. But I am convinced that if they do a proper search for the truth in the bible, then they must come to the same conclusion as I have. God has directed us in the book of Isaiah to seek the truth from his words in the bible. What does he say in Isaiah 28:9-10. Isa 28:9  Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts.  Isa 28:10  For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:.  Verse 9 tells us it is those who are weaned from milk. In other words, those who are prepared to seek knowledge as a mature person who will find it. Those who do not seek the truth this way are like babies who need to learn the fundamentals of God and will not be able to gain the knowledge they need unless they diligently seek the truth. Verse 10 clearly advises us to search the scriptures for the truth. As with any part of God's holy bible, if we are honestly seeking the truth on any matter, we must study the bible and find the answers.  When we follow the activities of the women from the time of Christ's burial until his resurrection, we can clearly see the order of things and calculate the days and the time of the days that Jesus was both crucified and resurrected.  I hope you will gain this precious knowledge as you read this booklet.

There are many fictional characters in the world, some presumably that do good deeds, like Superman and Wonder Woman. Then there are the villains of the peace, such as The Penguin, The Joker and Lex Luthor. Some people around the world base their lives around these make believe characters from comic books. And even though they know they are not genuine characters, their heroes still influence them. The sad thing is that we have Satan. The father of all lies. Who most people in the world (adults included and maybe even especially) do not believe he exists. Or if they believe he exists, that he has no influence over their lives. The resurrection from the dead of our Lord Jesus Christ is one of the most important of all Christian beliefs. For all Christian's today must believe that Jesus was resurrected from the dead. Otherwise they have nothing to base their faith in Him upon. It is only by his defeating the last enemy, death, that gives us hope of a future with Him. This belief is one that must be taken in faith. None of us present here today were there to witness the event for ourselves. So we must accept what has been recorded for us in the holy Scriptures. So, what is the evidence that we can see in these Ancient Words that can help us believe Jesus has indeed risen from the dead. Even the disciples who were with Jesus for just over three years did not understand what Jesus had told them about His death and the amazing event that was going to follow in three days. The Resurrection Book In this book, I aim to reveal to you some amazing facts surrounding the resurrection of Jesus. There is a great deal of proof recorded for us if we are prepared to look for it. This book covers this amazing event. The evidence should speak for itself, so if you read it I hope you can see the truth.

The Lord's Passover: Bible Studies, #25
The Lord's Passover: Bible Studies, #25

There is a great deal of confusion floating around about the timing of the killing of the Passover Lambs and because of this confusion, it can impact how we relate to every other part of the day. I know the only place I will find the truth that I am seeking is in the word of God, in His holy bible.  Joh 17:17  Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth. 2Ti 3:16  All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness. All the evidence I bring before you in this book will be strictly from the word of God. I do not intend to reference the work of any other book, any Rabbi, any bible society or anything else. Only the word of God. If I mention any of the above, it will not be to back up what I am saying, but more than likely to call them out for using the traditions of men and not the traditions of God. The proof of what I am going to tell you will be 100% from the word of God. I need no other proof. You will no doubt call me dogmatic, but I ask you this: "Were the apostles dogmatic when they preached, or were they timid?". Let's look at 2Ti 1:7. 2Ti 1:7  For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline. What is that saying? "It is better to act decisively and apologize for it later, rather than to seek approval to act, and risk delay." So with those thoughts in mind, I would like to discuss the Passover and the timing of the killing of the lambs on the 14th of Nisan. First, let me apologise to those readers who do not research Hebrew terms such as "ba erev" and "ben ha arbayim". Unfortunately, it is imperative we understand exactly what these terms mean if we are going to arrive at the correct time the lambs were killed on the 14th of Nisan. There are many translations of the bible that give us many differing times for the killing of the lambs. Let me give you a few examples so you can see what I am up against. I will list just 5 different versions of Exodus 12 and verse 6. (YLT) Young's Literal translation Exo 12:6  And you shall keep it up until the beginning of the fourteenth day of the same month. And the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it between the two evenings. [from the Hebrew term - ben ha arbayim] (BBE) Bible in Basic English Exo 12:6  Keep it till the fourteenth day of the same month, when everyone who is of the children of Israel is to put it to death between sundown and dark. [from the Hebrew term - ben ha arbayim] (KJV) King James Version Exo 12:6  And ye shall keep it up until the fourteenth day of the same month: and the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it in the evening. [from the Hebrew term - ben ha arbayim] (NIrV) New International Readers Version Exo 12:6  Take care of them until the 14th day of the month. Then the whole community of Israel must kill them when the sun goes down. [from the Hebrew term - ben ha arbayim] (WEB) World English Bible Exo 12:6  and you shall keep it until the fourteenth day of the same month; and the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it at evening. [from the Hebrew term - ben ha arbayim] There are 5 different time markers for the same event. Therefore, which one is correct? And yes, it makes an absolutely massive difference in determining the correct time that  the Passover lambs were killed. The Hebrew term "ben ha arbayim" is translated into these different terms. Between the two evenings can mean any time between about 1pm and sundown. Between sundown and dark can actually mean on the day after the first example of Between the two evenings. Then at evening can be the period from the setting of the sun until darkness, or it can be from the evening of the day before. All very confusing.
