The host body that she chooses is that of a young woman who had been sold by her parents to an older man seeking a fertile girl to serve him as a breeding mare. Confined within the girl's body as though it was his own, Alex suffers rape and constant beating by the brutal man to whom he was sold for the price of a cow.
Alex's punishment continues for the next fifty years as Rahab keeps transferring his mind from one horribly abused woman to another. He swears to pay Rahab back for his long years of misery, and hones his unusual powers throughout it until he is finally able to escape his horrific torture and exact his revenge upon both Hector and Rahab.
