Description

Substance abuse is a huge problem that is raging rampant across the nation right now.  And what is horrifying, is that kids are becoming addicted to drugs at a younger and younger age. So we need to talk about it! And just wait till you meet my guest here today.  Jim Hood is CEO of Generation S.O.S., a national nonprofit organization that implements and promotes free, peer-driven substance misuse awareness and prevention programs for students at middle schools, high schools and colleges across the country.  This issue is very personal for him, as he lost his son to substance abuse, and he wants to save other families from that same pain.  Now he spends his time and energy educating schools and saving lives@generationsosIf you'd like us to come speak to your community, email me at heynate@savethekids.org or fill out this speaker form@savethekidspodcastSupport the Show.

The Save the Kids Podcast is formerly known as the Collin Kartchner Podcast. Collin Kartchner was the founder of #SaveTheKids. Before his untimely passing, he presented 300-500 times per year about the negative affects of screen time, social media, gaming, and pornography on our kids and how to protect kids’ mental health. Collin was a warrior for children and we at Save The Kids are committed to continuing that message. Join our new podcast host and Save the Kids Speaker, Nate Webb as we continue the mission to Save The Kids.
