Last week as we were recording the show, the Anaheim city council gave their final approval for the Disneyland Forward Project! Ken Potrock announced that in the first 10 years, Disney will be investing at least $1.9 billion in the resort. Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln is under going a major refurbishment. Disneyland filed permits valued at $5 million in updates with the city of Anaheim. According to city records, the extended refurbishment will replace show elements, lighting, audio and show systems. This past weekend was Mother’s Day and Disneyland was in on the celebrations. The parks provided thousands of fresh carnation flowers that were gifted to all mother’s visiting! Pixarfest is now in full swing. Over the weekend the 6 themed Marketplace booths opened for guests to enjoy more themed Pixar eats. The Marketplaces are opened every day from 10:30am – 9pm. Fantasmic! returns to Disneyland on May 24th and this past week, dining packages with reserved seating became available again! There has been a change in the line up, Fantasmic dining packages will be offered at the River Belle Terrace and Blue Bayou Resturants. Be sure to visit the Disneyland website or app to make your reservations. –
