On today’s very special episode of Songmess we are bringing you an interview with long-time friend of the show, Alberto Castillo Figueroa of Acuérdate Noé.

Alberto is an avid music lover, doodler and overall sweet human, and his friendship with Richard goes back a few years to when they first met at Festival NRMAL. Ever since, the two have always linked up at festivals, most recently at LTDO MX in Guanajuato, and this episode (recorded in Mexico City) is serving as a mini update from the road. The conversation flows from our reviews of LTDO, our shared passion for festivals and lots of jams from Alberto’s home and extremely influential music city, Monterrey.
