Description

Note: We had some technical issues after finishing up with the recording this week. Adam's audio was sucked into the same vortex as Hauschka's game winning field goal, so we're going with his back up audio AND he's on the road, which makes it even worse. There's a lot to process with this week's tie game against the Cardinals. Not only was it the lowest scoring tie game in NFL history, it was the first time the Seahawks have ever tied an opponent. Adam and Brandan take you through the historic effort by the defense with incredible performances by Bobby Wagner, Cliff Avril and many others. We could run down the entire defensive roster if we were only handing out praise. But we also have to talk about the issues the Seahawks have at each of the tackle positions and what we think they'll do moving forward at those spots. The guys look ahead to the game against the New Orleans Saints, a team that has the ability to score quickly and get out ahead of teams early, especially playing at home. But while playing at home, they also have a tendency to give up a lot of points to their opponents. Every team they've played at home to this point has scored more than 30 points in the Superdome. In the second half of the show, they take a look at the pick'em leaderboard and this week's winners who only missed two games. Do better nods go out to the continued harping on the decline in NFL ratings when it makes no difference to people who enjoy football (or those who don't) and Adam goes after the NFL commissioner for assuming that all fans are idiots for not being able to understand the complexities of the disparate punishment between end zone celebrations and domestic violence. Better at life nods go to the Seahawks defensive coordinator and to an anonymous photographer for correcting a spelling error in our Seahawks kicker's name that's gone under the radar for many years. iTunes | Google Play Music | Stitcher | TuneIn | Facebook | Twitter | RSS Or listen via our free Amazon app, Android app, or iOS app Call or text: 253-235-9041 Email: gohawks@seahawkerspodcast.com Support the show Get in the Flock!
