JD Allen writes the Shamus Award-nominated Sin City investigation series. She is president of the Florida chapter of MWA, the current Sleuthfest Chair, a former chapter president of Sisters in Crime in North Carolina and Former Chair of the Bouchercon National Board. In the romance world, JD also published 11 books and novellas. She’s an Ohio State Univ. Alum with a degree in forensic anthropology and a creative writing minor. She’s a dyslexic cat lady who loves crime fiction and ocean views.
