With advances in technology and the evolution of social media, bullying has become nearly impossible for many children to escape. When you factor in children with trauma-history, the negative effects for the victim and the bully can cut even deeper. Joining us today is Wendy Williams, an author of the children’s book Hooray for Breezy. Wendy’s experience living with Cerebral Palsy, history of being bullied, and being a mother to two adopted children, inspired her to write this book. Hooray for Breezy features an inspiring, fire-breathing, and relatable main character with themes on bullying and the resulting trauma.
