Description

For centuries, Australia's tribal people have been subject to injustices and social prejudice. Today, we speak with Gunham Badi Jakamarra, who is part of the Original Sovereign Tribal Federation, also known as OSFT. He is also one of the founders of Nightcap at Minjunbul, a community which includes over 3,500 acres of land in the foothills of Mount Warning. In this powerful and revealing episode, Gunham walks us through history to look at the struggles of Australia's tribal people.

He talks about how Australia was taken illegally from the tribal people and explains that founders like Philip Arthur were only the first of many immigrants to visit the tribal people. As the land was taken without consent, Gunham and others reject the sovereignty of the queen and don't recognize the English monarch. Throughout our conversation, Gunham makes several references to the Australian constitution, which has been under scrutiny by Australia's tribal people. You'll hear references to the immoral and corrupt amendments to the constitution, and how these changes have affected the lives of tribal people.

We also talk about the issue of land, and how those who own land in Australia have been lied to and misrepresented, and thereby only own an interest in the land. Gunham's exposé is not without antidote though, and he tells us about his plan centred around banking, land ownership and government. Be sure to tune in with us today!
