Description

The threat of cancer has been something plaguing humankind for longer than we care to remember and its dangers have continued to arouse debate and disagreement within the medical profession, with proven cures seeming hard to come by. Or so it would seem. Ralph Moss, PhD., does not claim to have the answer to all the questions posed by cancer but does believe that some of the simpler, more effective means for dealing with it are being overlooked or stifled by certain dominant sectors of the healthcare field. Ralph is not someone who falls into a specific camp around traditional or alternative medicines, rather he believes in the scientific method to clinical trials, unhindered by business interests and big corporations.

His journey as a medical writer began decades ago in New York and it was his interactions with the controversial and later acclaimed clinician, Dr. Kanematsu Sugiura, that sparked his interest in why promising prospects in the cancer research field were being ignored. In our conversation, we cover his own experiences of cancer and the fruitful approach he took to tackling it, a basic description of how cancer attacks the body and some simple practices that can lower your risk of attack.

Ralph weighs in with some really insightful and balanced thoughts on improving the ways we fight this battle, emphasizing the rising tide of immunotherapy and moving away from violent chemo approaches. Listeners can expect expert and measured thoughts on a disease that we should hope to gain the upper hand against soon, so tune in to get it all!
