Seymour Hersh has Won a Pulitzer Prize, a National Book award and several George Polk awards.  He’s best known for breaking stories around military and national security matters including the massacre at My Lai in Vietnam, the CIA spying on American citizens in 1970s (that led to the formation of the Church Committee) and the torture scandal at Abu Ghraib during the Iraq war.
