W.E.B. Du Bois continues to share the struggles of the black race in the south. As the need for education is still high, it is facing the cries of southeners to be a waste of funds by the states and not efficient in its purpose. Yet, Mr. Du Bois uses statistics to show that the truth of the matter is far different. Graduation rates are growing in the south. The future can still be better with educated members of all races working together for a common goal.
