We had a great time, even if we are a little sore (we walked a LOT!). There's tons of info in this week's show about the trip!! A tip: check the show Facebook page. Much of the trip was pretty visual, and we did snap a LOT of pix.We also caught up with a couple of interesting guys who have had a LOT to do with WKRP over the years. The first was Bob Gerding. Bob is the local Video Pro who shot the opening and all of the exteriors whenever they needed something out in Studio City. Bob has some GREAT stories from working on the show. THEN we talked to the man who is the dean of Media Reporting in Cincinnati: John Kiesewetter or just "Kiese". Kiese wrote for the Cincinnati Enquirer starting just after WKRP went off network. He followed it through the syndication episodes with the lost music, hacked scenes and awful attempt at a DVD release in 2007. He's talked to every one of the show principles and written about them all multiple times over the years (except maybe Jan). Kiese took us on an incredible tour of Cincinnati looking at it through the lens of WKRP. We'll have full interviews with both of these guys plus a rundown of our four WKRP-Filled days in Cincinnati.
