Yvette Montero Salvatico is on a passionate mission: democratize foresight. Having started out in finance at The Walt Disney Company many years ago, Yvette was tapped to establish and lead the internal Future Workforce Insights division. The goal was to identify future workforce trends and leverage foresight models and techniques to assess potential threats and impacts, emerging ideas, and exciting opportunities for the organization. Experiencing firsthand the transformational effects of building a foresight practice into multiple roles and levels of employment, she and her co-Partner at current firm Kedge (a strategic design, foresight, and innovation company), decided to start 'The Futures School' to bring the critical skills of strategic foresight and futures thinking to everyone and anyone - especially important as we enter a new era in which we have the opportunity to create a better future.
