Description

Welcome to the Lovecars On The Grid podcast, with our hosts, Tiff Needell and Paul Woodman, who bring us a roundup of motorsport events from around the World.
This week, we have news on Formula 1 and Christian Horner, In Formula 1, the rumours surrounding Christian Horner at Red Bull continue, will he leave Red Bull? Who could replace him? We have Gunther Steiner who left Haas under shares within the company, Helmut Marko says he still could give something to the Formula 1 Constructors Championship, who do you think could replace Horner?
In NASCAR, we had the most exciting race in Atlanta. With lots of crashes, with just 6 cars not being involved in an accident, with cars up to 4 wide in some of the turns. Reigning Champion Ryan Blaney took second place as Daniel Suárez came through in his Chevrolet to take his second win in 254 starts in NASCAR. The series is off to Las Vegas next!
The Bathurst saw Aussie Supercars, where reigning Champion, Brodie Kostecki wasn't racing, as he'd fallen out with is team for unknown reasons in the supercars opening race of the season.
World Superbikes also kicked off at Philip Island. Normally, we're used to seeing Alvaro Bautista win in the Superbikes, however his team mate, Andrea Locatelli took his first win in the World Superbikes series.
Should we get Tiff Needell to do a series race this year? What race series should Tiff enter?
We've seen this season's Formula 1 drivers testing. Will Red Bull continue to dominate the season? Ferrari's drivers of LeClerc and Sainz were fastest, but which team will lead the season this year?
Elsewhere in Formula 1 news, there's rumours that Audi are pulling out! Since we've had the news of a new team joining the sport, it looks like there's been a few staff changing, resulting in the team looking for pull out.
We have lots of motorsport to look forward to, as Formula 2, Formula 3 and World Endurance Championship all return to racing in the coming weeks. What are you most looking forward to?
