Ian Book struggled in his debut, completing only 60% of passes and throwing a pick-six. But he, just like the Saints team as a whole, had the cards stacked against him from the outset. A makeshift offensive line that featured a player that hadn't taken an NFL snap since 2017, pass-catchers that have drawn concern all season, and a run game that couldn't get going.
