Description

On yesterday's podcast I offered thoughts on what the Jets need at each position on the offensive side of the ball. Today we move to the defense. I go through each spot on the defense and say what I think the Jets should look to add.The offensive situation for the Jets is a bigger issue. That is reflected in the 2019 statistics. While the team was near the bottom of the league in offensive productivity a year ago, the Jets had one of the better defenses in the NFL. There is a relatively common theme on the defensive side of the ball. There are plenty of passable players or at least guys who could become viable starters if everything breaks right. What is generally lacking is star power. Adding some might be difficult considering the priority offense will need to take, but this will be worth keeping in mind going forward.
