Description

Booze and Boobs is our largest third party fundraising event. Event organizers Star Hand, who you heard in episode thirty, and Chloe DiLiao raise more and more funds every year. And for that we’re grateful. That’s because third party funds can be dispersed without restrictions, which means we can reach more women.
During this powerful mashup episode, you’ll hear from Chloe, and survivors-turned-supporters of The Rose. They’ll share their personal stories, and why it’s important to them to help the women in our lives.
That wraps up this mashup episode. We’re so thankful for this year’s event, which was bigger than last year’s. It happened weeks ago and people are still talking about how much fun we had.
Booze and Boobs is one of many fundraising events throughout the year. Which means there are plenty of other ways to support the women of The Rose, beginning with our annual Everything’s Coming Up Roses Annual Luncheon in March, Hats and Henna High Tea is perfect for celebrating mothers, and The Annual Shrimp Boil is fun for all ages and happens in June.
As always, you can make your donation any time at therose.org. No amount is too small when it comes to fighting breast cancer.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
