The Context of White Supremacy hosts the weekly Compensatory Call-In 02/17/24. We encourage non-white listeners to dial in with their codified concepts, new terms, observations, research findings, workplace problems or triumphs, and/or suggestions on how best to Replace White Supremacy With Justice ASAP. This weekly broadcast examines current events from across the globe to learn what's happening in all areas of people activity. We cultivate Counter-Racist Media Literacy by scrutinizing journalists' word choices and using logic to deconstruct what is reported as "news." We’ll use these sessions to hone our use of terms as tools to reveal truth, neutralize Racists/White people. #ANTIBLACKNESS The Kansas City Chiefs triumphed in Super Bowl LVIII and returned to Missouri to show off their back-to-back gridiron/brain damage championship. During the parade jamboree, a dispute erupted between a group of juveniles, and they commenced to shooting. After the smoke cleared, 1 person was dead, non-white female Lisa Lopez-Galvan, and 22 others were wounded from gun fire. Super Bowl MVP Patrick Mahomes and other players had to duck for cover and shield small children from bullets. Importantly, the mayor, black male Quinton Lucas, attempted to pass gun regulations in 2023 to help curb gun violence in the KC metropolitan area. Violence that especially devastated young black males in Missouri. Mayor Lucas was out-muscled and overpowered in these efforts by more powerful White politicians.
