Description
How do we navigate painful circumstances in life? How do we walk with others who are experiencing the most challenging circumstances? How do we respond when life doesn’t turn out the way we expected it to? Katherine Wolf is a stroke survivor, disability advocate, and author who leverages her redemptive story to encourage those with broken bodies, brains, and hearts. Katherine works along with her husband, Jay, to resource people who experience disabilities through Hope Heals Camp and Mend Coffee. They have co-authored two best-selling books Hope Heals and Suffer Strong. Katherine’s first devotional collection, Treasures in the Dark, will be available on April 9, 2024. This conversation was a special one. In this episode, you’ll hear some of the treasures that can be found in dark times, how Katherine has used her experience to encourage others with disabilities, how to encourage and support those going through hardships, why it’s possible to reframe how we think about our circumstances, and more.
