The Baylor women's basketball team lost to the Kansas Jayhawks for the first time in 15 years (19 games) Wednesday, suffering an 87-66 blowout for their first loss of the 2023-24 season. Nothing went right for Nicki Collen's team, especially in the paint, where they were outscored 56-32 and out-rebounded 48-31.

Baylor men's guard Dantwan Grimes announced Wednesday he would enter the transfer portal. Grimes took a voluntary redshirt last season to hone his game after coming in from junior college, but struggled to find a place in this years team, averaging just under five points a game but having not played a minute in Baylor's two conference games.
