Joe & Joe Weather Show Tuesday September 28, 2020. A deep trough and a strong cold front plus a developing wave are combining to produce heavy rain, thunderstorms and strong winds for the Northeast and Mid Atlantic states tonight. Cooler air follows mid and late week. In the West it is bone dry with sunny skies thanks to a strong ridge of high pressure aloft. Tropical storm formation is possible late week or this weekend in the Northwest Caribbean.
