This is Episode #9 and our guest is Irma Herrera. Irma is a social justice activist who has spent three decades as a public interest lawyer, and a handful of years working as a journalist. A native of South Texas, she has resided in the Bay Area since 1980. She is now a playwright and solo performer of her one-woman show, Tell Me Your Name. We talk about the importance of teaching people to say your name correctly, growing up in Texas and awesome other stories all while enjoying a beautiful cup of coffee.
