Troye who considers herself a McCain Republican, is a national security official who has worked on homeland security issues at the National Counterterrorism Center, the US Department of Energy, The Office of Intelligence and Counterintelligence, and the DHS. She also worked for former Vice President, Mike Pence. While serving on the Corona Virus Task Force she famously parted ways with Pence over the administration’s response to the pandemic.
