A 2020 nonprofit source cited that 30% of all charitable donations happen in December when people feel more inclined to help the less fortunate, with 10% happening in the month's final three days. Down years are rare, with 2009 being the most recent before 2022, according to Giving USA. One charity hoping that you keep them in mind this year is Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.
