Description

The TalentCulture #TChat Show is back live on Wednesday, March 11, 2015, from 7-8 pm ET (4-5 pm PT). Last week we talked about the six steps to building a remarkable workplace, and this week we're going to talk about email productivity and a new way to work. Really. Email productivity. We know, we know -- sounds like a contradiction, but it's not.  Email as we know it today is outdated and was invented before “Internet” was a household name. Instead of our managing email -- which really manages us -- what we need is a better way to communicate that focuses on deeper engagement and better outcomes.  Social tools, and mobile and cloud technologies have significantly changed the expectations of consumers about online communications, social interaction and other collaboration tools. When it comes to the technology we use, we want our work experiences to echo our personal lives, while our organizations want tools with company-wide security and scalability. It's time for email to act more like a personal assistant. That's something the world of work needs today. Join TalentCulture #TChat Show co-founders and co-hosts Meghan M. Biro and Kevin W. Grossman as we learn about email productivity and a new way to work with this week’s guest: Carolyn Pampino, Design Director of Collaboration Solutions for IBM. Thank you to all our TalentCulture sponsors and partners: TalentWise, Dice, Hootsuite, IBM Smarter Workforce, CareerBuilder, PeopleFluent and HRmarketer Insight.
