Back on the retrospective where fans were somewhat surprised for this to be the follow up to MATCH POINT the year before - but we are still in London and Woody is easing off the darker storytelling on this one
 
SCOOP (2006) Is set in the bustling streets of London, where Sondra Pransky (Scarlett Johansson), an American journalism student, finds herself entangled in a whirlwind of investigative journalism and romantic intrigue. When she accidentally encounters the ghost of veteran reporter Joe Strombel (Ian McShane), who claims to have uncovered the identity of a notorious serial killer, Sondra is thrust into the world of crime reporting alongside Peter Lyman (Hugh Jackman), a charming but enigmatic aristocrat.
