Matthew (he/him) and Jo (she/they) decide it is time for a less subtle approach to “Civil Defense” against the Bajoran workers. We analyze the classic “Put the Star Trek crew in a mortal situation that hopefully they will recover from by the end of the episode” format that this show falls under and we discuss how Dukat is portrayed as a villain in this episode and at this point in the series.
