Matthew (he/him) and Jo (they/them) step into “Rick’s” to weigh “Profit and Loss” in this heavily Casablanca inspired episode. They celebrate all the Casablanca homages the show could get away with, talk about how down bad Quark is for Natima and they spend a little extra time comparing Cardassian’s civilian surveillance state to American’s surveilling on their neighbors through NextDoor and other reporting means as supported by the state.
