Motta notes, "She's trying to come up with case law to justify why an in-camera meeting should not be made public.  Motta further explains the complications arising from the docket management, pointing out that “while the technical responsibility for the docket lies with the clerk, the judge cannot absolve herself from the gaps and inconsistencies.” He argues that significant procedural lapses cannot be simply brushed under the clerical rug.
 
 The Indiana Supreme Court's upcoming decision on whether to reinstate Allen's attorneys or potentially replace Judge Gull could have far-reaching implications. "If Gull's actions in the closed meeting are deemed inappropriate or unjustified, it could mean a dramatic shift in the case," Motta asserts.
