Description

Nick is joined again by Comrade Levi to discuss a really "radical" article from The Economist  in 1997.  This is part of our article series on Palestine, Zionism, and Empire, which we will run in parallel with our history series. In this episode we mention Edward Said. Said was a Palestinian-American professor, author, and activist, who was active throughout his life in supporting the struggle of Palestinians and critiquing American foreign policy.  His book Orientalism  is an important work to analyze the relationship between the West and the East, and is well worth checking out.Article for this one: The Unchosen People The Intervention Podcast:Twitter: @intervenepodInstagram: @intervention_podEmail: interventionpod@gmail.comLevi:Twitter: @levi0leviEmail: levi0levi@duck.com
