Description

Friends of the Rosary:
Those who have been entrusted with more by God will be held to an even higher standard.
This Christian teaching, expressed by Our Lord in Lk 12:39-48, is especially relevant today, given the war in Holy Land and Ukraine.
It means that those who have been given greater responsibilities, such as leaders or people in positions of authority, will be held accountable in the presence of God for how they have used their power and influence.
The biblical passage of “Much will be required of the person entrusted with much, and still more will be demanded of the person entrusted with more,” serves as a reminder for us to be mindful of the ways in which we use our blessings.
We always have to strive to use them in a way that aligns with God’s will and promotes the well-being of others. It is a call to humility, gratitude, and responsible stewardship. We hold today, Friday, Oct. 27, a day of prayer and fasting for peace in Gaza and Israel, following the call of Pope Francis.
