Description
[Comment: Desire for Transcendence]
Friends of the Rosary,
Religions are mostly about awakening our desire for transcendence and directing it toward God. But Christianity is different. It's all about following Jesus Christ, who was fully divine and fully human. In Him, divinity and humanity meet.
As Bishop Barron says, those who know Jesus Christ realize that the love of God necessarily draws us to a love for the human race.
The God-man revealed to us the greatest commandment: “You shall love the Lord, your God, with all your heart, with all your being, with all your strength, and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself.”
Jesus was all mercy, and by trying to imitate Him we should show the same compassion for fellow human beings.
