This weekly broadcast examines current events from across the globe to learn what's happening in all areas of people activity. We cultivate Counter-Racist Media Literacy by scrutinizing journalists' word choices and using logic to deconstruct what is reported as "news." The ongoing violent conflict and confusion regarding the Israel/Hamas conflict has produced workplace arguments and firings, misinformation, and even the murder of a six-year-old child in Illinois. A 71-year-old Racist Suspect, Joseph Czuba, is charged with killing Wadea Al-Fayoume because he is Muslim (and not White). We also hear about a 13-year-old black boy who was "rammed" of his bike by Metropolitan Police officials in England. He was brandishing a water pistol, and White officers told his black mother that he could have been shot to death.
