But the Yankees, according to GM Brian Cashman, already had six outfielders and didn’t need Bryce Harper at the start of the 2019 season. So Steve and Stacey played a game of what if. What if the Yankees did get Bryce Harper? Which subsequent moves wouldn’t have been made? Which trades wouldn’t have happened? How would the Yankees have performed in the playoffs from 2019-2022 if Bryce Harper was a Yankee?
