When it comes to dominating a fantasy hockey league you are going to need to get lucky at some point in the season when it comes to the players you either draft, add, or trade for. Some other times, you need to get lucky with some under-the-radar fantasy hockey pieces on your blue-line roster. Hoping to get a NHL defenseman that goes off for a good fantasy season that other GMs were not targeting.

Some of those stand out-type defenseman this season we discuss on today's episode. Those include the likes of Florida Panthers defenseman Gustav Forsling who is having a career year with the Panthers and has benefitted big time by playing in the absence of guys like Brandon Montour and Aaron Ekblad. Other underrated names that deserve a lot more credit that are worth a look for adding to your fantasy hockey team are none other than Detroit Red Wings D-man Filip Hronek or even L.A. Kings rearguard Sean Durzi.

Other defenseman that are flying under the radar with varying degrees of fantasy hockey success this season are New Jersey Devils Jonas Siegenthaler and even the likes of offensive blue-liner specialist in Vince Dunn of the Seattle Kraken who bring a nice boost of offensive power-play points to a fantasy hockey team in need of some more O from their D.
