In continuing our research on the history of photography, Stacy fills us in on the life of Louis Daguerre. Credited with inventing one of the first forms of photography, Daguerre would go down in history as a scientist who brought the worlds attention to this new concept. Using iodine, mercury vapor and a highly polished silver plate, Daguerre was able to not only capture an image but keep it from disappearing. This would springboard the development and bring photography to the masses.
