Description
“Lived Through That” is the companion podcast to my book where I look at influential 90s musicians and where they are today. On this podcast, we’ll delve deeper into a single pivotal moment in the lives of some of the artists I feature in the book, as well as other artists I love and admire. The stories they tell are open, honest, and inspiring.
On this episode, I’m excited to bring you my conversation with Stephen Duffy! Stephen was one of the founding members of a little band called Duran Duran – maybe you’ve heard of them? He left to do is own thing with Simon LeBon taking his place and the rest is history for both Duran Duran and Stephen Duffy. Duffy had many twists and turns in his career and has a list of bands and accomplishments to go with it. He had a huge hit under the name Stephen Tin Tin Duffy with “Kiss Me With Your Mouth." But it’s his band the Lilac Time that emerged in 1987 with their self-titled debut that has endured and blossomed. The Lilac Time are currently back with a fantastic new album, Dance Till All The Stars Come Down, that’s available everywhere you get your music.
Musical credits:
Theme song from Jupe Jupe.
On Top Of It by Blue Dot Sessions
