Conference USA is in a state of flux. The league just lost six teams to the AAC and is bringing in four news teams (New Mexico State & Sam Houston State from the WAC, Liberty & Jacksonville State from the ASUN) with Kennesaw State (ASUN) set to join in 2024. The conference loses 17 of its top 20 scorers from last season along with its reigning Player of the Year, Coach of the Year, Defensive Player of the year and everyone from the All-C-USA first and second teams. Needless to say, the conference feels wide open.
