It’s Black Friday and while the world is in a shopping frenzy Charla Maarschalk and Marijanel talk about artists' value and making money with art. “You deserve to get paid for the value that you’re giving people in their lives.” Charla says, but there’s more to it than that. Making money starts with knowing your worth as an artist, your value on the inside.
Charla shares a little of her personal story on how she began to make money with her art, and how she sees the artist's worth is the same as valuing any other respected profession.
Marijanel tells about the lesson she learned from an artist who says his pieces take thirty years to paint, and how our life experiences and all our skills are poured inside each piece of art.
