The strike has resulted in the suspension of multiple talk shows, some of our favorite late-night shows, and delayed production of many drama series. In this episode of CyberPink, we talk about the reasons behind this strike, and how streaming and the era of prestige TV changed the industry's revenue structure. We interviewed director and writer Maegan Houang, who is a strike captain at WGA, about why she decided to start the strike and what she thinks the studios need to do.
