First based in Moscow, Russia, later on in the Netherlands, where she is currently active as Reiki Aikido Meditation. Anya first got her master title in Usui Reiki Ryoho in Moscow with the teacher and author N. Balanovskaya. After moving to the Netherlands, she deepened her practice through constant studies and retreats with Frans Stiene, world-renowned teacher, author, and founder of the International House of Reiki. In 2018, Anya became one of the few female Reiki masters who went to Japan to experience the spiritual roots of Reiki directly. She visited the Shugendo training grounds, participating in Goma (fire) ritual and the Takigyo (waterfall) practice.
